Technical and vocational education plays a critical role in national and regional human resource development in Myanmar. The efficient use of human resource is the key factor describing the driving force of Myanmar. economic development and current competitiveness of Myanmar economy what is technical and vocational education(TVET)?
Techanical and vocational education (TVET) is an education system which produces professional techanicians by teaching necessary practical skills of workplace , good ethic and attitude sufficient knowledge and by training students who are capable of taking responsibility in various fields.
To provide necessary skillfull technicians for Myanmar TVET sector and to improve socialeconomic wellbeing of people and regional development, regular AGTI courses and skill-based short courses are now being offered at GTI(Letpadan).

Electronic Communication Engineering
Electrical Power Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Enrollment students can get 30,000 MMK for stipend. In accordance with their effort, they can also get scholarship programme and job opportunities in abroad. If they complete their respective courses within three years, they will be awarded AGTI diploma. Moreover, qualified students can join Technological university (TU) to attend Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
